The aft section being flattened offers stability at anchor. This boat can be fitted with both stern drive and outboard motors depending on one’s budget, and required usage. Fitted with a Mercury Verado 200 HP or Mercury Diesel QSD 2.8 220 HP or the Mercruiser MCM 4.3 MPI with Alpha 1 drive the Parker 800 Weekend can reach speeds of 30 knots.
